Internship Opportunities
California State University Sacramento (CSUS) Internships
On My Own provides a variety of paid internship opportunities for students. Our partnership with the CSUS Division of Social Work allows undergraduate (BSW) and graduate (MSW) level Social Work students the opportunity to serve in our community-based programs supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Social Work Interns will partner with the company to utilize knowledge gained in the classroom to develop professional competence in the field while working with our department directors, clients, families, and other human services agencies.
This program is supported by our onsite Field Instructor, Jaime Zehner—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience providing clinical and case management services in our local community. Social Work Interns receive paid compensation during field practicum hours, and may find opportunities for employment upon successful completion of the internship program.
