Sunrise Recreation & Park District's 75th Anniversary Jubilee:

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate 75 years of parks, programs, and community with the Sunrise Recreation and Park District! The Jubilee will be buzzing with activities for all ages. There will be a classic car show, a kids zone, food trucks and vendors, a beer garden, music, and fireworks! Auburn Big Pow Wow:

This free, family-friendly event celebrates Indigenous culture with traditional dance, drumming, arts and crafts, and Native foods. Open to the public, the pow wow honors children, families, and elders while showcasing the resilience and diversity of Native communities. Guests will experience intertribal songs, vibrant regalia, and cultural sharing in a welcoming space. The event is ADA accessible, and all are encouraged to attend.

EL DORADO COUNTY

Coloma Gold Rush Live 2025:

Join us and take a walk back in time. Explore our re-creation of a 1850 tent town! Register your claim at the Assay/Claims Office, procure supplies at the General Store, or find a place to bunk down and eat at the Boarding House. If you've just come in from the mines, head on over to the Barber/Bath House to clean up, then pick up a fresh shirt at the Laundry before heading over to the Saloon. We will have a fundraiser BBQ, candy store, period items for sale from local vendors, wagon rides, candle-making, games, puppet shows, a tin type photo booth, bakery, and more!

Chair Yoga:

Relax and unwind with Chair Yoga, a perfect way to de-stress and stretch out those muscles! Yoga is a fantastic way to build strength, flexibility, and balance. Learn breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques to improve relaxation, reduce stress, increase pain management, and sleep better. Classes are gentle and designed to be accessible for older adults and people with arthritis. We will explore a variety of chair options and props, so everyone can enjoy the practice of yoga.
